BioCurrently living in a century-old dorm room of some post-secondary institution in the middle of god-knows-nowhere, trying to "earn" an overpriced degree in Bioinformatics (and money to pay for it), ari spends a majority of her time procrastinating and convincing herself of her complete and utter suckiness.
She also greatly enjoys writing extremely long and unnecessary run-on sentences.

Now, on a completely random note, as much as I'm all for unlikely pairings in a real-world, realistic sense... I despise cross-overs. Unless you're CLAMP, then, yeah, cross-overs are fine. If you're not CLAMP, don't even think about it.
As far as writing's concerned, I have the tendency to write AU (alternate universe) fics, though I, personally, enjoy reading canon ones. For me, it's an enjoyable challenge to take beloved characters, change their environment, and still maintain what makes them... them. A good AU is one in which you can still recognize the characters you love. A fan fiction isn't fan work if you change the characters' personalities to fit your story, after all. That's why it's fun. =)
